Bike Stuff

I've been into bicycling since I got my first two-wheeler. As my vision deteriorated, so did my bicycling. When things got unsafe for me to ride alone, my very understanding wife agreed to help me pilot a tandem. It took very little time for us to decide we wanted a recumbent, but 10 months of research to decide that the Vision R82 was the best choice for us. We absolutely love it, and work dilligently to spread the word about the joys of recument riding. If you haven't tried a 'bent, you don't know what you're missing!
One handy tip: if you don't like meeting and talking to people as you travel, you will not want to buy either a tandem or a recumbent. However, if you like meeting interesting people who are interested in you, this is the kind of bike to get.
We've prepared a list of frequently asked questions about our bike, and here's an FAQ for recumbent bikes in general. We're also thinking about printing up some flyers to hand out to people we meet in our travels. More answers and tips are coming soon!

A photo of us on our Vision R82 Tandem Recumbent bicycle will be available soon.
